Those needing community support and/or wanting to ask questions should refer to the Tag/Forum map, and to http://spring.io/questions for a curated list of stackoverflow tags that Pivotal engineers, and the community, The immediate problem is that groupOfNames doesn't extend organization, or vice versa, and they are both STRUCTURAL object classes, so you can't specify them both in the same object. Solution was to manually adjust wp_profile/wim/config/wimconfig.xml to use uniquemember in the group configuration.
