i got a kodak easyshare CD33 for christmas , its an older model but its still works good. I called Canon and they stated that I should mail the camera to them, they would access whether it was covered by warranty once it was in their possession, and quote luckily. A repair shop had estimated £50 just to open it up (no guarantee of fixing it) and it was all looking hopeless...
