p.s. There are several forums on the net that mention that connecting the camera to the TV completely resolved the E18 error. 2) A camera lens is out-of-focus. I fixed the initial problem and broke the camera for good all in one step.... I dropped my camera today in Nantes and of crouse the lens has a dent in it and it wouldn't retract. check my blog
