i have a canon powershot sd1000.my sister dropped it a couple inches on the lens while it was still retracted. Method #7 work for me... Nevermind, fixed my Kodak Easyshare C613. I have a casio exz75. check my blog

In looking at the lens carefully as it was trying to open, I noticed some white caulky-like material peeking out from under the outer lens ring.
