Help. My ancient printer often produced the 502 hardware error message when in the middle of printing. I have just replaced both catridges and it was printing fine and then it came up with error 1102 , the black catridge error apparently. Thanks for the tip! My ink was low so I changed it and then I started to get the 502 hardware error. Was about to throw the printer away and get a new one. If that fails, go to support.lexmark.com and search the knowledgebase.

I put it back together. navigate to this website There are two rubber seats and an electronics card full of ink over there. does anyone have any ideas? It is hard to believe it was that easy of a fix.

I will probably have to get a new printer since I have exhausted all . Search Fixya Press enter to search. Search for the fix for error code 0502. But it so hard to put it somewhere, where you can't even see.
