Lexmark X1100 Windows 7 Error


Umm were having a problem with our printer. Step 5: Next, click Create a new port and choose Local port from the list of options. The problem is that none of these drivers are ".inf" like it wants when its trying to connect remotely. It had been Kodak 5300 AiO. Are you able to help? STRICTLY USE CABLE CONNECTION. However, when I use the same steps to network my Lexmark printer, (going to Start, Control Panel, Printers, Add printers) I cannot find my listed Lexmark Printer.

Website gave a download for win 7 compatibility which i attempted to do but it still doesn't work. However, in properties for the program it tells me the driver is not installed. above is where you went wrong IMO..... 1.

also when i try to add remove programs I don't show it as being installed yet in program files it quite present and not deletable!! The "Add local printer" was where I was going wrong, obviously. If it refuses to start double click it, click the recovery tab, then for all the failure boxs it is set to restart the service. When I had an XP desktop I had no trouble setting up my XP laptop to access my printers Some comments indicate they worked on the problem for several hours.

This was my first negative experience with win 7 hopefully there wont be many more. Keep up the good work.
